Data Data......

If you could use computer data as food then ideally the world would be hunger free. I could write a BOT that people could use that would just run and run, writing random data over every sector of your computers drive until it was full.
People would then walk down to their local shop, and trade kilobytes or gigabytes of data, for any amount of digital food. As they placed onto their heads a metal helmet, full of internal nodes, the data would stream from their hard drive through a conversion machine and trigger the neurons in their brains.
As their eyeballs turned green, a huge long series of 1's and 0's rushed across them, so that all they could see was a matrix like screen of digits. As electrical stimulations ensured their brains were tricked enough so that their stomachs inflated, all anyone would feel was the comforting feeling that their stomach were expanding as more and more data passed into the converter.
Just like a data wiper, where your anti-virus tool writes over every sector of a drive with random data, trying to obfuscate the original files, these tools would be used to ensure you made enough data to feed yourself.
However, like wipers, where there is always a downside in that the magnetic disk can be deep scanned by authorities to find the original files, the authorities now had tools and similar tech to check you haven't randomly and automatically created your data, and that all of it was due to you spending time on your keyboard writing the prescribed letters designated by the state that were the only files you could copy to create the data you needed.
It truly was a dystopian time of surveillance and total control. The more you copied out the propaganda pieces praising the new high tech Chinese state overloads and their methods, the data would fill your drive, but so would the minds of the weak, as they were slowly indoctrinated by the words they were reading and re-typing out.
Therefore any Western government would instantly crack down on this concept, tax it and make sure that people filling up hard-drives with BOTS couldn't swap them down the shop without paying transaction taxes. In fact the US government would probably end up in another 20 years of useless wars in African countries, fighting the poor, against rebel child armies, and those that were relying on data to feed themselves, in a means to stop the spread of ending hunger across the world.
The FED would surely impose taxes on any data swap, ban any automatic BOT that could write the data, and instead link the amount of data created to the use of electricity. Therefore instead of letting your BOT run free and fill your PC's drive up. They would ensure that the amount of electricity used to create the data was multiplied and multiplied, just like inflation, so that anyone creating data would be penalised and taxed for doing so. Little Bank Of England USB disks would be mandated, and stuck permanently into your computer, monitoring the electricity being used, the CPU usage, and the data being generated.
Auditors would come round regular people's homes regularly to check that the USB disks had not been tampered with and fine anyone who had made data for free. Those people who were found had been stealing electrify from their neighbours would be shamed publicly on the bright ever shining propaganda screens that now lined the streets of this modern world. Social credit scores would be demoted and state monitoring would be increased on any perpetrator breaking the rules. Sticking to the lines would be mandatory for any good citizen to survive.
Of course some people would go underground, using unauthorised scripts downloaded from the Dark Web or Pirate Bay to use. Huddled in squats with solar dishes and fans attached to the building that generated enough free energy to run their BOTS. They risked jail and public shame, all to create the data they needed to survive on.
They were the Anonymous of their time, the free thinkers that were not linked into the global finance structure, and were able to run their BOTS for free. They ignored the Chinese run Government's but at a huge risk to their liberty. For if they were caught they would be severely punished, and fined.
There is no getting away from the over-reach of governments and private entities like the Federal Reserve that prints money out of thin air, then loans it to the governments of the world to be paid back with interest.
Any scheme that could provide the world with hope is instantly squashed by the status quo. Hunger, medicines and war must exist so that populations are limited, controlled and put in their place by the big bad Axis of War.
The USA/UK and France on the bidding of their new Chinese masters, would be constantly starting wars all across the world where people were illegally filling up computer drives with data in “rouge states” whilst jingoistic papers like the Sun and Mail would somehow manage in a convoluted way to justify these wars of Imperialism. All so that the stupid supported them despite not being in their own interests, just as they do now with COVID laws, and new Police bills and the constant censorship on the Internet.
However the sheeple still tuned in to existing Government propaganda channels, listening to state TV propaganda like the BBC, and Sky News, would obviously use their shows to ensure the citizens were kept thinking that paying taxes they didn't need to, and paying for food they shouldn't have to is was actually a good thing.
Therefore whilst there might be some underground data transfer swaps on the newly highly encrypted mesh networks now being created to avoid NSA intrusion, most people would suffer hunger by not bending the law. The constant wars of the 21st century created by design, would run on forever, making the rich even richer.
